Legal counsel, Succession advisor, Managing Partner
A graduate (with honours) of the Department of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw. He received the title of a legal counsel in 2006. He is a member of the District Chamber of Legal Counsels in Olsztyn and of the European Association of Lawyers AEA-EAL based in Brussels.
He has gained extensive professional experience in several renowned Warsaw law offices working since 1998 as a barrister, then a legal trainee and a legal counsel. He was also working as an internal legal counsel (in-house lawyer) in business entities operating on the domestic market, dealing primarily with broadly understood business law with particular emphasis on the real-estate law, as well as corporate law and consulting in obtaining financing for commercial investment projects.
In 2007, he opened his own Law Office. As a managing partner he created a modern law office associating a group of barristers and legal counsels, working closely together and complementing each other within their expertise, thus offering a comprehensive and individual approach to each customer.
Dawid Sokołowski renders counselling services to both Polish and international entities on issues related to the real-estate law, the renewable energy law, as well as the commercial law, in particular in the scope of capital changes and ownership relations. He focuses on handling transactions and providing on-going services to business entities. He advises on investment processes and joint venture transactions. He also has relevant expertise in the field of divisions, mergers and transformations of companies, in negotiating investment contracts’ terms, the property succession and alternative dispute resolution methods. In the Law Office, he also co-ordinates customer service in cross-border relations, in particular with partner law offices from Belarus, Ukraine, Slovakia and the Czech Republic.
